CNDH follows up on precautionary measures requested in favor of persons arriving at “Casa Hogar para Migrantes La 72”

The security measures were requested to safeguard the safety and physical integrity of the migrants.

The National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) held a working meeting with representatives of various federal and state authorities, to follow up on the progress made in the precautionary measures requested in favor of various persons in the context of migration who were housed in the shelter “Casa Hogar para migrantes La 72”, in Tenosique, Tabasco.

The meeting was attended by officials from the National System for the Integral Development of the Family; the System for the Integral Development of the Family in Tabasco; the Federal Attorney General’s Office for the Protection of Children and Adolescents; the State Attorney General’s Office for the Protection of the Family and the Rights of Children and Adolescents of Tabasco, and the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance (COMAR).

In an institutional effort, COMAR reiterated its commitment to maintain communication with all the mentioned authorities, in order to expedite the procedures within its competence to provide the international protection required by families and girls, boys and adolescents (NNA), as well as to hold the working groups required to achieve these goals and to follow up on the results.
