CNDH present at the dialogue table with residents of Aguililla, Michoacán.

At the request of residents, the organization participated in a meeting with Federal Government authorities.

Derived from the actions that the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) has carried out with people from Aguililla, Michoacán for the pacification of that area, today, personnel of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) participated in a dialogue table at the request of the community of that municipality, with the purpose of raising specific situations and seeking a channel of intervention.

Among the main objectives of the meeting are, in addition to the restoration of peace, to meet the demands of the citizens, who demand to guarantee security and free movement within the municipality.

The National Commission trusts that the State and federal authorities, within the framework of their powers, will generate appropriate action strategies, hand in hand with the population affected by the circumstances of insecurity and violence afflicting that region of the country, in order to guarantee access to their human rights.
