The CNDH and the Federal Court of Administrative Justice Sign Agreement for Human Rights Training

Collaboration agreement to promote the study, teaching, observance and respect for human rights.

Upon signing this agreement, the president of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH), Rosario Piedra Ibarra, highlighted that respecting human rights is an indispensable condition for achieving justice, a task shared by both institutions, as well as the responsibility to attend to society, contribute to the construction of a culture of peace and carry out various jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional actions to safeguard human dignity.

Accompanied by the presiding magistrate of the Federal Court, Rafael Anzures Uribe, President Piedra Ibarra indicated that this agreement is based on the premise that those who know human rights can disseminate, enforce and respect them, which will undoubtedly contribute to raise the principles and values of our society, “a task that, I am sure, will give maximum results when working jointly with the Federal Court of Administrative Justice”.

At the premises of the CNDH, Rosario Piedra expressed that only a responsible and honest work of the judges can preserve the balance between private interests and those of the State in the field of litigation. Therefore, she said, the Commission has the utmost interest in promoting activities that allow reflection and awareness to promote the transformation of a more just, egalitarian and inclusive society.
